FAQ

Honest answers to the questions families actually ask.

Whether you’re caring for an elder, doing it from a distance, or managing your own care, here’s how SaralCare works, plainly.

01

For elders

Yes. Your records belong to you. You decide what is shared, and with whom, whether that's a doctor, a family member, or no one at all. Nothing is shared without your consent, and you can change those choices any time.
No. SaralCare is built to be gentle and simple, with reminders that are easy to follow and a layout that doesn't get in your way. And if you'd rather have help, a family member can be set up to assist with whatever you choose to share.
Not at all. We don't replace doctors, caregivers, or hospitals. We make sure your medicines, appointments, and reports hold together, so your visits are more productive and nothing important is forgotten.
That's a perfectly good place to start. Many people begin with medication reminders and refill tracking alone, and add appointments, vitals, or records later, only if and when it's useful.
Yes. You choose, record by record, what your family can see and what stays only with you. Privacy is a setting you control, not a default we decide for you.
02

For adult children

Yes, that's exactly who we're built for. You can see medicine confirmations, upcoming appointments, and shared records from wherever you are, so you're never guessing about how things are going back home.
Each dose can be confirmed, and those confirmations are visible to you if your parent chooses to share them. A missed dose is surfaced the same day, instead of becoming a surprise weeks later at a follow-up.
Yes. This is one of the most useful things we do. When specialists aren't talking to each other, we keep one running record of every medicine and report, and flag possible interactions when a new drug is added.
The full picture, current medicines, recent reports, and history, is in one place and ready to share with a hospital in seconds. No scrambling through files, no starting from zero in the worst moment.
We work hard to avoid that. Your parent owns their information and decides what’s shared with you. The goal is quiet support and dignity, never surveillance.
A short, no-pressure call. We listen to what’s going on, help you set up the pieces that matter most, and you add more only as your family needs it.
03

For solo elders

Absolutely. Many of the people we serve are elders taking charge of their own care. SaralCare keeps your medicines, appointments, and records in one place, in your control, with no one looking over your shoulder.
That feeling is exactly why we exist. With everything organised and owned by you, you stay independent now, and if the day comes when you need help, the full picture is already there, ready to hand over, without a difficult scramble.
Yes. You can keep everything entirely private, and invite a family member or doctor to see only what you choose, whenever you choose, and remove that access just as easily.
Gentle reminders are built in, for medicines, refills, and check-ins. The system is forgiving by design, it's there to help you remember, not to scold you for slipping.
You can share your full prescription history, recent reports, and vitals in seconds, so a new doctor or a second opinion starts with the whole picture, rather than relying on memory.
